My kids love Frozen. Like, LOVE LOVE LOVE it. My boys were born in 2010, so they were three with Frozen came out and even though this movie made aaaallll the little girls go “Elsa Crazy”, my little boys LOVED it. Loved it on a loop. Watched the movie on a loop. Played the soundtrack on a loop. I’d guess they probably watch Frozen at least once a month and yep…they have all the dialog memorized. I don’t think “Frozen Fever” has ever really died down and now that the Frozen 2 teaser trailer has dropped, I expect it to pick back up again as we all try to guess what the movie is going to be about…because WE KNOW NOTHING!
You can purchase movie tickets on line through Fandango prior to the release date…I just think that’s so cool and it makes the wait for the movies you REALLY want to see a little more bearable. Although Frozen 2 tickets are not on sale yet, you can sign up for fan alerts through Fandango. You can also subscribe to my blog and I’ll let you know when something new comes out because I like to stay on top of these things.
The Frozen 2 Teaser Trailer has dropped and we all have questions
If you haven’t watched the Frozen 2 Teaser Trailer, here it is:
The new poster has also been released…you can check it out at the very end of this post.

This tells us about the movie without really telling us about the movie. We know Elsa and Anna are back and we know Kristoff and Sven are still around. And what do we think about Elsa’s updated outfit? It’s a little less princess and a little more…dare I say it? Superhero? And that end bit where Anna whips around with that sword? That’s pretty badass and I love how she didn’t wait for Kristoff (who was wearing the sword but not as alert to whatever danger was presenting itself) to react. She just did it herself. I also spotted subtle changes to Anna’s costuming and it looks a little more like active wear than princess garb. Yessss.
While we don’t know the dynamic between Anna and Kristoff, I think it’s pretty safe to say they’re still a couple, since the end of Frozen left little doubt as to their connection. We also know our friends from Frozen go far away from Arendelle…or at least that’s the conclusion we draw from seeing the very un-Norway like landscape. There is no snow, although Olaf is walking around this strange and beautiful autumn land looking like he’s in no danger of melting. Could it be some kind of Troll magic at work? Oh, the Trolls! Conspicuously absent from this trailer. Hmmm.
We don’t see any mention of Prince Hans and my sources and resource tell me he’s not in Frozen 2, which is fine. He served his purpose and unless he’s behind some kind of evil mastermind plot that’s essential to the new story, I don’t see him being a fit in this puzzle. But, who knows?
We also know Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown have been added as cast members, although their roles are so far unspecified. I did see an unfamiliar female character at 1:25 and I go back and forth on whether that is Anna or someone new. I think it’s someone new – the hair is darker than Anna’s and she seems a bit stockier. What do YOU think and if you think she’s someone other than Anna, who do you think she is and what role will she play?
It’s really anyone’s guess at this point because the plot to Frozen 2 is under wraps as of right now. But, stick with me and I’ll give you the information as I get it.
I buy all my movie tickets online through Fandango. Frozen 2 tickets aren’t on sale yet but they are selling tickets to yet-to-be-released films. Go check it out!
