Zoo Lights is happening now at the San Antonio Zoo (+ Black Friday deals)

Holiday fun at the San Antonio Zoo includes entertainment such as parades and carolers, seasonal snacks, and other add-on experiences. Roast s'mores, visit with Santa, and ride a camel. There's even a “Tinsel Tots” store where kids can shop for gifts for their parents or loved ones with help from a zoo staff member.

More than 95 percent of the lights are LED, making them energy efficient.  By using LED lights, the zoo uses a fraction of the electricity required for conventional incandescent lights. There's even an educational display that teaches kids about the benefit to using LED lights.

And of course, there's holiday music and hot chocolate.

Project Selva 4D Theater

The 4D theater is showing abbreviated, 4D versions of Happy Feet and Polar Express. If you haven't been to the San Antonio Zoo in a while, this is a newer addition. Tickets for the shows are $6 per person and the shows last about 10-15 minutes.
