Homestead Craft Village has so many places to explore.The artisans and craftsmen at Homestead Craft Village will take the time to explain their craft to you. It's really cool!And then of course, there is shopping!
If you want to make your photos really fun, take some bubbles!The Suspension Bridge at Indian Spring Park is a great photo spot…you might luck out and find the bridge totally empty!
But it's too much to ask for everyone to look at the camera AND smile. Apparently.These pictures were taken on a chilly January day – still very comfortable to be outside in the Texas “winter” weather. Usually.

The Dr Pepper Museum is a great place for photos and nostalgia
There's a little shop where you can buy treats at the end…and, of course they sell Dr Pepper!You can easily spend half a day exploring the Mayborn Museum on the Baylor University Campus“I want to look at his butt.” Sigh. Boys.“She wants me to look at the camera, smile, AND not touch my brother?”
Waco Mammoth National Monument was our very favorite place in Waco. There are some fun, easy trails at the site.I STRONGLY recommend the guided tour, especially if you have kids.You can easily spend half a day at Waco Mammoth National Monument, exploring the dig site, walking the trails and partaking in the junior ranger program.The Waco Sports Hall of Fame and my little ham…Downtown Waco is surprisingly trendy and very Instagrammable…

The backyard area is lots of fun on a sunny day. The food trucks are amazing.Even if you don't buy, the store is so fun to browse in.This kid in the pictures, y'all. FOR.THE.LOVE.This is a Demo Day Dog from the Waco Dog House food truck at Magnolia Market. Trust me, this is a dog house you want to be in.Always busy, but worth the stop!

My kids are obsessed with Dr. Pepper (we live in Baltimore). I have to take them and we always go to Dallas to visit in-laws. I see a side trip!
My SIL just got back from a trip to the area (mostly to visit the Silos) and loved it. It’s definitely on my list now!
I think we would enjoy the dog house very much!! My husband is a foodie and loves to try new things.
