Disclosure and Privacy Policies
Ripped Jeans and Bifocals is a monetized blog. As a reader, you are not impacted by the compensation I might receive for sponsored posts, ad revenue or affiliate income. The FTC requires I disclose that I earn a small income from blogging. If you’re having trouble sleeping, I definitely recommend you check out their guidelines becuase snoozefest.
Any sponsored content that appears on this blog represents products and services my family and I have used. I don’t enter into agreements with companies that don’t fall into line with my basic beliefs…so you won’t find me promoting a book called How to Quit Chocolate or The Evils of Bacon or anything crazy like that.
If you’re my average reader, here’s what you need to know:
I use affiliate links. If I link to Amazon or another merchant in my blog posts and you click on those links and purchase something, I make a small commission. I am required to disclose when I post affiliate links. You pay the same price you would have paid anyway.
Some of my posts are sponsored, which means I am paid by a brand or buisness to advertise their product as part of my post. I always strive to be honest and show how my family uses a particular product in our home.
My blog may contain ads, to include pop-up ads. I’m sorry if they’re annoying. They help pay for the insane amount of groceries my boys eat.
