I have 34 devices in my home that connect to the internet. Is that crazy or what? My husband and I both have mobile phones. We both have a desktop computer. We both have laptops. Our kids have Kindles. I have a Kindle. My husband has a Kindle. I have an old Kindle that we don’t use that’s still connected. Our television is hooked up to the internet. We have four Amazon Echo devices that power Alexa. Our lights and home security are hooked up to the wireless. Probably some more stuff. It’s a lot.

It’s 2017 and wireless internet powers our house. We use it constantly. My kids use the internet to study for their spelling test. I use it to look up recipes, to meal plan, and to make my grocery list and to order my groceries. My husband and I watch our favorite TV shows courtesy of…you guessed it…the internet.

We can find answers, buy stuff, entertain ourselves, order cat food and turn the lights off and on via the internet.

Because our home relies so heavily on the internet as we go about our daily lives, internet safety and security has become a concern. We have so much information coming and going over our home network. I’ve started to worry about whether the convenience of the internet has put my family at risk.

CUJO is easy to set up and install. We actually had to contact customer service during install because of a specific issue with our internet service provider. They were fast, responsive and friendly and got us up and running in no time.

Anything that’s hooked up to the internet is vulnerable…even a baby monitor or garage door opener. Makes you think, right?

Thankfully, we have CUJO.

That’s right, we have CUJO…our very own internet guard dog that keeps our info safe. You can get CUJO, too. It’s super easy.

This is what CUJO looks like when it's on and doing it's job. The “eyes” will change shape when there's a threat and you'll be alerted via the app.

CUJO is a smart firewall for connected homes like mine. It offers business-level security to the home network, which gives us peace of mind.

This one device will secure all devices connecting to the WiFi router. CUJO detects and blocks malicious sites, viruses, and hacks. Think of it like antivirus for your entire network. Plus, CUJO lets you control what your kids access online and keeps them safe.

CUJO provides business-level internet security, right in your home. CUJO guards all devices. You can download an app (available from the iTunes or Google Play store) that allows you to connect to your router and control and monitor your family’s internet activity via the app. It’s so simple and it’s blazing fast (built with 1GB Ethernet!)

In this day and age, we don’t want anything to slow us down, right? We’ve got recipes to look up and games to play and business to do. Thankfully, CUJO protects your home network without holding up your browsing speed. That’s a win!

CUJO also has a parental controls feature, which is important to me. My two seven-year-old boys use the internet and I want them to be safe and teach them how to have a responsible online presence. CUJO’s parental controls feature:

– parental controls for all devices

– internet filter

– time limits

– social media monitoring

– pause internet

– alerts and reporting

– remote administration

– user profiles and settings

Parents, there is no quicker way to get your child’s attention than using the “pause internet” feature! Ask me how I know! Our kids are using the internet more than ever. This is a small, easy thing to do to keep them safe online.

Hey! What just happened here, mom?

CUJO is simple and easy to set up and monitor. If one of your devices tries to access a potentially harmful site, the app notifies you that one of your devices was trying to access a website or a server that contains spyware or malware. CUJO will block the attempt but gives you the opportunity to allow it, should you decide the site is safe for your family.

We rely on the internet to do a ton of things. You can say what you want about too much technology. Technology is our reality. We can’t not use technology but we need to be smart about it. We need to be safe about it.
